    I worked at Wyeth part-time

    Pros

Very flexible with the hours. I could work pretty much the days and times during the work week that worked for me. For a part time position the compensation was quite generous.

    Cons

Really the only downside was calling on primary care physicians. Previously I had worked in specialty sales in oncology calling on teaching institutions and specialists. Calling on primary care doctors along with thousands of other reps was really not fun.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wyeth (New York, NY).

    Interview

Met with local hiring manager once before receiving the offer and was then sent to Pennsylvania for training. Initially, I was contacted by a recruiter after I replied to an online posting.

    Interview Questions

    • There really weren't any difficult or unexpected questions. Previously, I had been a manager in the industry myself, so I pretty much knew the typical questions and preferred answers.   Answer Question
