Until 2008, BCGI offered employees a fun and challenging environment, with a great group of talented employees. Management provided clear vision for the goals, priority, and direction of the company. Employee contributions were valued and rewarded.
Unfortunately XIUS did not have the same values, and laid off the majority of the BCGI workforce in the takeover.
Advice to Management
Consider and reward values of employee experience and efforts.
I interviewed at XIUS-bcgi (Bedford, MA) in January 2009.
Initially met with the hiring manager and several of his direct reports. For the second interview, I met the hiring manager's boss, a Vice President within the company. Everyone was genial, and there was a short skills test. All communication between myself and the company transpired in a prompt and timely manner.
