I worked at XL Energy Drink full-time (Less than a year)
Good brand, price point is effective, good choice of flavors, size of package is right for the category, could develop to be a good brand if pushed in the right direction
ownership is one minded, believes every market is the same, ego driven business, undervalue and underpay their employees, no accountability is taken everything is pushed off to the next level employee underneath them
Advice to Management
listen to your employees and take their advice if you choose not to listen and play the higher status card at least take responsibility for your mistakes and not pass it on to someone to take the blame. Let your employees do the job you hired them to do.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at XL Energy Drink (Warsaw (Poland)) in February 2017.
The hiring process first started with an HR Specialist who, nicely, reviewed my CV and skills and decided that I am fit for a higher position than the one that I have already applied for. After that, a couple of weeks later, I went for an interview with the company owner himself. What I did not appreciate was the presence of other future co-workers for the interview who took knowledge of my agreed salary which was relatively high, which in turn made them jealous for the entirety of my work time there. Not too bright, not too bright of the senior management to have them present there.
