Mission: Xactly’s mission is to unleash human potential to maximize company performance. We believe in the power of incentives to help companies, their employees and their partners to build stronger relationships and achieve more.
We are very excited to be recognized as a Denver Post Top 150 Place to Work. Last Wednesday we celebrated this tremendous honor.
C.A.R.E. — customer focus, accountability, respect and excellence in everything they do. That’s the guiding acronym Xactly has built its culture on. And you don’t have to dig too deep to see it in action. Initiatives like the XactlyOne Philanthropic Foundation or the company’s annual C.A.R.E. Week are proof positive of how important that mentality really is for the company.
Unleashing human potential to maximize company performance.”

Here at Xactly, our core values are C.A.R.E.: Customer Focus, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. In order to create such a positive and productive environment, these core values are not just words, but something all of our employees aspire to live by every day.
XactlyOne Philanthropic Foundation

Contemporary Take on Professionalism
Xactly is a midsize company with a startup feel. Xactlians often wear many hats and are more than willing to learn on the fly and take on the next challenge or new opportunity in order to develop their skill set.
At Xactly our culture of collaboration means we foster an environment that encourages open door policies, and the sharing of ideas. We find that the more room there is for working together the more that we are able to learn from one another and grow as a team.
The Importance of "YOU" Time
Here at Xactly, we see the importance of YOU time. That’s why we don’t put a cap on sick time or vacation days, and instead opt for a Flexible Time Off (FTO) program that allows our employees to take the time off work that they need to come back refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on their next project. Xactly maintains competitive time off benefits in locations outside of the U.S. where local laws govern such programs.
"The rubber band ball is an important part of our workplace culture. New employees that join Xactly add their rubber band to the ball, which symbolizes that when we work together, and utilize our different backgrounds, skills, and attributes we are capable of far more than we are individually. It also reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously—what we’ve built together will remain intact." - Chris Cabrera

I have been working at Xactly Corp. full-time (Less than a year)
Great benefits, office, and culture. Xactly loves to party, and work hard. People actually like each other and want to hang after work - it's not an awkward, forced thing. You also have FTO unlimited time off, that people actually take advantage of. It's an adventurous, fun, social group. You get to know people really fast and feel "at home". On top of that, there are tons of professional growth opportunities both within the company, and within the larger Vista portfolio. The CEO explicitly encourages growth whether it be at Xactly or within the larger Vista landscape (5th largest software company worldwide) - it's not like if you explore these opportunities you are in mutiny. There's sharing of talent. The leadership team is learning and growing, just as the staff are. There are pains associated with this, but what company doesn't have that! There is SO much internal support for sellers - from on-boarding all the way through selling (people who do demos for you, executives willing to jump on any call, etc.) Everyone is coming together to learn, and have difficult, honest conversations that help to work through the problems. By and large, there is transparency and honesty from the CEO all the way down. Problems are being identified and fixed. The culture here is a gem and hard to find. If you are open to being vulnerable, patient, and understanding as the company works through its growth, and if you're willing to learn and be open, you will have a phenomenal professional experience here.
Comp could be better, but the benefits and experience you get working here outweighs that. You get a lot of autonomy and responsibility and so much opportunity to grow which will benefit you way more in the long-term than a couple extra thousand in your paycheck now. The products are kind of boring (but what SaaS isn't) - the value prop is pretty easy to learn which allows you to start earning faster, so I think the comp will balance itself out in the end anyway. Plus it's awesome to work at a fun place where people are actually honest with each other, even when it's hard. Growth is hard, but when is it not. I equate it to healing a scab, then another one forms, then heals again. It's all part of growth and ultimate success - nothing good ever comes easy.
Advice to Management
It's been a long, hard road, and will probably get harder. We see you. Don't be afraid to do the hard things so that we can all grow together. We are behind you.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Xactly Corp. (San Jose, CA) in March 2016.
The interview process started out with a very welcoming phone screening by one of the in house recruiters. This was very pleasant and I was kept in the loop with where my application stood and so fourth. Then I was brought into the building for an in house interview with three team members who were very informative and were very pleasant to speak to, especially being that this was my first corporate job interview. I left that day from the interview very excited about the company and the culture, and I have been very happy with Xactly since. :)
I was called with an offer and immediately wanted to except.
