To keep your your key systems functional, you need two centralized teams to oversee your entire network: a security operations center (SOC) and a network operations center (NOC). Your SOC monitors, responds to, and remediates security threats to protect applications and data against cyberattacks. Your NOC keeps an eye on network status, applies updates and patches, and provides tech support to your users. Both are equally necessary – and because they have to work together across your entire network, it makes sense for both teams to overlap, partly or even fully.

Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    Pros

I've been with Xantrion for several years and I'm amazed to see that our company only takes steps forward and never backwards. A big reason for this is because they gather employee feedback every year and really make an effort to listen to their employees. People are really great to work with, raises feel substantial, they promote comradery and the owners/management are very transparent.

    Cons

Workload can be a little demanding sometimes especially during certain times of the year and some of the clients can have unrealistic expectations. Thankfully this has been a rare occurrence and management does take the time to address this.
