Work retention requires... Competitive Competition? Empathic Leadership? Wrong. The answer is Yeti swag, that's the reason I stick around. One more Yeti cooler and I'll pencil myself in as a lifer

Pros

I have never worked anywhere like this! Most organizations share their mission and values with the team but here at YETI - we live it. • The environment is fast paced and there is never a dull

Cons

I wouldn't call this a con, but with the fast pace - comes the challenge of feeling as if you are spinning your wheels at times.

Advice to Management

Continue to pour into your people by way of development. I would recommend we evaluate perks/offerings to consider remote workers.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at YETI (United States)

    Interview

I submitted a resume and cover letter and heard back in a week two for an initial recruiter screen. Then I had two additional rounds of interviews with three other team members. They told me they would be making a decision soon, but I never heard back which always leaves a bad taste in my mouth once they've taken up a significant amount of your time. In this case, I was a recovering from a minor surgery and still made the effort to meet with them. The culture also very seemed homogenous with no people of color I encountered through the interview process.
