We have bi-yearly company-wide hackathons

At YipitData, we're quick to admit that things can (almost) always be done better or more efficiently. So, twice a year, employees from every department take a step back from their work for a few days to put heads together and come up with innovative solutions that improve our every day work.

Our most recent winners, seen taking over the trophy above, developed an interactive discovery tool that allows our analysts to easily look at map trends.

Every Friday, we gather together in our All Hands area for a catered lunch and presentation.

We value Mastery here. Along with regular company updates and OKR reviews, we like to use these times for group learning opportunities. Some of our recent presentations included:
