I worked at Young Consulting full-time (More than 5 years)
Good pace of deliverables. There is not much overhead with way too many meetings. You are not expected to do OT. You do not get inundated with too much work.if you know your subject, then you should be able to finish your job easily in the assigned work hours. Salaries are decent. Company is VERY stable, from a business outlook.
Benefits are just OK. Vacation , holidays not plenty. NO telecommuting allowed . We still work on desktops when most of the tech world has gone to laptops. My suspicion is the CEO just hates people working from home to such an extent he won't set up work where that is convenient. Major downside.
Advice to Management
Allow some limited telecommuting and you will get a lot larger pool of candidates for future hiring. And it will help you contain salaries as people will be willing to take a little less to work there.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Young Consulting (Marietta, GA).
Referral from a friend. It took just one interview. No specific technical questions. Just a look at the educational and job background on the resume.
He offered a salary, I accepted.
