I worked at YuMe full-time (More than a year)
Small team so you get more responsibility and they trust you with a lot of the work so you have a better understanding of the business, but colleagues are greedy and want to watch you fail.
No one is friendly. Have their own cliques and don't want to make new employees welcome. Sometimes it also feels like there is a major gender bias . At least with the Pricing and yield management department. They favour Asians.
Advice to Management
Have more company events and make the company culture friendly. Have better seating patterns and floating desks instead of confining people to certain spots.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at YuMe.
I was very disappointed with the interview process. After investing more than two weeks of screenings, phone calls, rescheduled call - on their part - and an in person interview I was surprised to hear that my background apparently was not a match for the position. If my experience was not a match I think this should have been made clear from the very beginning. I was led to believe that there was a vested interest.
