Mission: To Build the Defining Global Company that Feeds the World.
I have been working at Yum! full-time (More than 10 years)
Yum! Brands truly cares about their employees. Awesome recognition culture.Great benefits offered ranging from health, dental and vision insurance, paid baby bonding leave for mothers and fathers, adoption assistance, college tuition reimbursement and many other offerings such as wellness programs, fitness center with trainers, community discounts. Every employee receives 4 weeks vacation starting your first day.
Only con I can think of is that it is hard within some departments to be promoted from a non-exempt hourly position into an exempt salaried position.
Submitted resume on their website and got a call back from the recruiter within a week to schedule for a phone interview.
The phone Interview was easy, the HR person only asked two questions from me and HR just answered some general questions that I have about the company and the compensation/benefits, etc.
After the phone interview, I was told that I would hear back from the hiring manager within a week but I didn’t. I called back to the HR person, tried to leave a voice mail but the mailbox was full. So I called the corporate center and left a message at the HR department and didn’t receive a call back either. Then I spent the next couple weeks and tried to call at different times so I could reach the HR, but there were no pick up every time. I probably have called 6-7 times.
Finally, more than a month later, I heard back from HR with an apology from HR and was told that they went with another candidate.
