I have been working at Zaarly full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

When you hear people saying they love their jobs you would never think you'll one day get to that place but at Zaarly, you do. From the CEO to service providers, everyone at Zaarly is the best people you can get to work with.

Everyone makes you feel welcome even if it's your first day, with plenty of room to grow, learn from your peers and grow a product that people actually use and need. The environment is incredibly inclusive and upper management provides a great way to balance your work and personal life.

Very good benefits, healthcare, and vacation policies, you'll be going to work because you love working there, not because you're dragging your feet to yet another day at an office. Zaarly is located in a very nice area of Kansas City, away from the hustle of big cities and has a really good work from home policies allowing them to have employees all over the United States but you'll never feel as if you're not at the office.

This is not a typical startup environment.

    Cons

Managing deadlines can be tricky since projects are not time-based but if you have a good personal organization and strategic thinking, this shouldn't be a problem.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Zaarly (San Francisco, CA) in February 2011.

    Interview

Really great people that listen and always do the best thing for you. I couldn't agree more that people here are the best interviews in the world. I really think Bo does a great job setting the culture for everyone.
