  • We base our approach on facts and logic, emphasize what is possible, conceptualize new directions, and pioneer new concepts.

  • We discourage unproductive meetings and events that waste everyone’s time, and we are creative at avoiding them. We’d rather have competitive challenges to see who is the best, and we do (e.g. gaming, tennis, bowling, shooting, poker, racing, etc.).
  • We have a top-down approach to management, which ensures our small teams can focus on the tasks at hand. Because of their perspective on projects, management is able to link teams and people when necessary. Management communicates requirements to key personnel and shifts resources to improve alignment and project flow.  We are a flat organization for communication where anyone is allowed to talk with anyone with ensuring the correct chain people are informed.

Salary

Income Protection

  • Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD). Premiums are 100% company paid.

    Pros

    The company is a small company that IS growing. It still has a feeling of a company, which is great! The owner is awesome. There are many perks as well. Really good company to work with. Just like other companies there are growing pains, but they are being worked out.

    Cons

    It is a small company and as the DOD contract goes so could your job. That's just the contracting world.

    Advice to Management

    Great company, I enjoy most of the people. It's worth doing your research and not just blowing off a call from the company. Fair and competitive salaries. Also, the company pays for certain parts of health care and job certifications.

    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Zapata Technology (Telephone, TX) in October 2015.

    Interview

    I got an email via Indeed. Due to a change with the Indeed website i was unable to reply. So I looked up the company and called to speak with HR. Miriah explained the job and responsibilities, the scheduled a technical interview. After the technical interview i sat down with a teammate i would be working with for a further interview. I started work a little over two weeks later.
