Why Work With Us?

Zello is a company founded on the idea that people matter, and that includes our employees. We are a team, and our team-building events, from destination hackathons to weekly happy hours, are essential to our culture. We offer a large open office plan that makes it easy to collaborate, and encourages transparency (as well as the occasional Nerf war). And every day we are fueled by unlimited coffee, tea, and snacks.

We also focus on giving our employees everything they need to maintain a work-life balance  (health insurance, flexible hours, and unlimited vacation, for a start!). All of these benefits help us attract and keep the very best, so that we can be the best.

Going from a bootstrapped startup to a multi-million company is no small feat. Management has stayed true to its mission of empowering its employees to make a great product. People are recognized for

In the beginning, it was a little disorganized and the end-goal wasn't very clear, but over the last couple of years, the strategy has really solidified. As long as everyone is on board with the work

Advice to Management

    Average Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Zello (United States) in Aug 2021

Was told to submit my profile since I have over 12 years of experience and am one of the original developers out of the first 800 apps ever presented to the marketplace.

Was told I wasn't worth an initial interview due to a miss-spelled word on my resume that must have slipped through and the CTO who said that also felt I was better suited for contracts.

So my experience was very negative CTO's actions show me he doesn't care about bringing on top talent and doesn't have what it takes to be a strong leader. This could be why the android app lacks proper support, is always failing, and has bad reviews.

    Declined from the initial interview.
