I applied online. I interviewed at Zeus (United States)

1.5 month long process with multiple phone calls and 2 zoom interviews. I was sent a formal offer letter (for a sales position) which had no explanation or mention of commission. As a salesperson, I negotiated for a slightly higher base pay, and for a clause that included commission structure (normal, right?). The negotiation process was over the phone with the manager of the team. Zeus then emailed me three days later stating they had rescinded my offer. No explanation, no effort to call me, and no valid reasoning. I was excited about this role and company, yet the way they handled this situation has shown me that I dodged a bullet, and am lucky to not be working for them. I'm hugely disappointed in the way Zeus carried themselves, and hope this isn't something other candidates have experienced as well.

What are challenges you've faced in prior roles and how did you overcome those challenges.
