Mission: Alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for people around the world.
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) hosted a Lunch and Learn Nov. 19. John, a leader in the Connected Health organization, talked about Zimmer Biomet mymobility™, an app that uses Apple Watch to facilitate a new level of connection between patients and their surgical care teams. The app can immediately affect patients’ recovery experience after they undergo hip and/or knee procedures. The YPN Employee Resource Group Lunch and Learn series encourages and empowers YPN members through development and networking opportunities.

Imagine working for a company that improves the quality of life, restores mobility and alleviates pain for people around the world. Simply put, this is Zimmer Biomet’s mission.
As a leading innovator in musculoskeletal healthcare, we create the world’s most complete inventory for joint reconstruction, bone and skeletal repair, sports and spinal injuries, as well as dental procedures.
Every day, we focus on improving musculoskeletal healthcare. It’s all that we do. It’s all we’ve done for the past 90 years.
Our innovations help treat patients with disorders of the bones, joints, and what holds them together. Zimmer Biomet solutions span pre-to-post-operative care. We work closely with top healthcare professionals to speed up the pace of innovation and expand the possibilities for successful treatment outcomes.
With business operations spanning the globe, we look for bright and talented individuals who are results-driven and share our commitment not just to what we make, but to what we make possible.
Your progress. Our promise.
We provide a collaborative environment and the tools, resources, and training opportunities our Team Members can use to succeed. You provide the drive.
From the very beginning, our goal at Zimmer Biomet has been to create new possibilities for healthcare professionals and their patients.
It all starts with seeing the potential for making splints out of aluminum, rather than making splints out of wood. But questioning the status quo doesn’t stop there. It continues with the championing of biomaterials and design advances that are now the industry standard.
At Zimmer Biomet, our relentless pursuit of better and better solutions has led to revolutionary changes in musculoskeletal healthcare.
From the use of direct compression molded polyethylene, to titanium alloy in cementless reconstructive products, our capability for innovation is continuously improving as it evolves.
The promise of progress is how Zimmer Biomet got started and it is what still drives us today.
Headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana, Zimmer Biomet designs, develops, manufactures and markets orthopaedic reconstructive, spinal and trauma devices, dental implants, and related surgical products.

Advice to Management
Best team, best roadmap
I applied online. I interviewed at Zimmer Biomet (Warsaw, IN) in March 2014.
Interviewed with peers and hiring manager. Eventually reviewed by my supervisors supervisor (VP of Manufacturing). The process was fair but after having worked there I see that interviewing is extremely inconsistent. My positive experience might be rare.
