I worked at Zions Bank part-time (More than a year)
Fun work environment. Awesome coworkers. Benefits, paid time off, and paid holidays for part time workers. Having peak time tellers and personal bankers was a huge plus, IF we could get one to our branch.
Constantly understaffed. One time I literally peed my pants because we were so understaffed and overworked, I couldn't take a bathroom break. Not much opportunity for growth unless you went to back office.
Advice to Management
Hire more tellers for your busy branches. We were constantly running around like crazy because we never had enough tellers, even getting lunches done was difficult. I frequently couldn't take lunch until past 4PM. Like I said above, I couldn't even take bathroom breaks because we were slammed constantly.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Zions Bank (Salt Lake City, UT) in October 2015.
i got a call from HR rep and did a pre-screen with basic questions. then I had an in person interview. it was in the main office downtown and it was one on one. overall, the process was very easy
