I worked at Zoic part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They want to take care of you, treat you fairly, and pay fairly well. If anyone has a problem they will do the best they can to make you comfortable.

    Cons

Slightly disorganized, and communication could get better- this would be fixed by more or somehow better utilization of support staff.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Zoic in March 2014.

    Interview

They described the position, what I would be doing, and what they provide to their interns, then asked tome pretty basic interview questions. The position is unpaid so they try making up for it by having lectures, providing the interns with a mentor to learn from based on your interests and career goals, and giving you access to the studio on days off to work on your own projects.

    Reasons for Declining

I needed the internship for school credit and wasn't sure if running errands was going to be enough to fulfill my course requirements. Plus it is unpaid and I don't live in LA.
