I have been working at Zoltek full-time (Less than a year)
Compliance is a focus at Zoltek and upper management supports the goals. This makes me position more affective. The company is growing rapidly and is under new management. Communication from executive management is clear and provides direction. Joining this company is bringing me career challenges, continual development and allowing me to be productive and motivated.
The company is in a state of change and moving rapidly, issues need to be addressed concisely and effectively, it is definitely a multi task environment where most people where more than one hat. I enjoy this and don't actually see it as a con, but if you don't thrive in this type of environment, it could present a challenge.
Advice to Management
Continue directional communications to all employees. Leverage the strengths of new talent and continue to stay open to the change that needs to be implemented to ensure Zoltek remains a strong company through the growth process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zoltek (Saint Louis, MO) in July 2015.
The process consisted of; a phone interview, followed by two in person interviews with multiple individuals. There were also personality screenings and skill testing. The process was pretty standard and was communicated efficiently. Throughout the interview process I was asked a lot of questions, but found it easy to get the information I needed in order to understand where I could take the position that was being discussed and whether I felt there would be growth opportunity for me in the future.
