Fantastic company with creative leadership that is driven, innovative, and willing to change directions when needed. This company is still run like a healthy start-up where maintaining and engaging culture is something the company strives to achieve. World class technology coupled with a leadership team that is focused on the long-term and achievements. One of the only places I have been that encourages you to hire above your own abilities. Work hard, play hard, and keep things in perspective - culture.
This company runs lean and operationally efficient. You need to be willing to wear a lot of hats and do more than you might expect. If you are unable to deal with ambiguity and rely too heavily on large amounts of support resources, this is not the place for you.
Advice to Management
Keep focused on culture, fairness, and retaining top talent. Trust the leadership below you to make sound decisions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zscaler (Columbus, OH) in May 2018.
There were 4 interviews; First with a recruiter, then a 1on1 with hiring manager, then a panel interview and finally interview with the VP of customer success. The panel interview was very challenging and lasts almost three hours. They have a bench full of talented people and they are very selective on who they hire to maintain that!
The time is right. The time is now.
