I worked at bareMinerals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company spends a considerable amount of time training their staff, the benefits are great and the environment is friendly. Promotions from within happened often but has slowed since Shiseido's takeover.

    Cons

Ever since Shiseido bought out Bare, it seems as though they have no idea how to run the business. Shiseido has gone through multiple CEO/VP changes, with this inconsistency in leadership DM's proved to be equally as unpredictable and unreliable.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your team, they are in-store helping customers. As DM's we understand that you are overwhelmed with the realignment of stores and cutbacks on employment. But the sales team knows what they need to succeed.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at bareMinerals (Detroit, MI).

    Interview

Smooth, thorough. You are given the platform to discuss your experience and you will be asked where you have worked your job duties and why you want to work for Bare Minerals. Try to learn as much about the brand as you can before hand.

21 Beauty Products To Try In 2015

Call us crazy, but one of our favorite things to do as beauty people is offer up product suggestions. It's for good reason - we spend most of our days up to our ears in bottles and tubes, and our bathrooms are pretty much overflowing with liners and lipsticks a-plenty.
