I have been working at bind on-demand health insurance full-time

    Pros

New Company with and exciting product! People are nice. Free Parking. You can make an impact here on your very first day.

    Cons

Start up company - need to be able to roll with the punches and changing directions. Healthcare Industry is very populated so you need to have a product that sets you apart, I think we do.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! Good people, growing company, lots of hurdles to overcome but it seems like we are on our way. Keep the excitement level up around the office.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took a week. I interviewed at bind on-demand health insurance (Minneapolis, MN) in April 2017.

    Interview

The pre-interview process was great! I was provided with a lot of information by the person I initially spoke with on the phone. No formal job description for the role, but he was very thorough and walked me through the role, some of the responsibilities, how it would fit into the team I would be working on, and how it would fit into the organization as a whole. It was a new company when I interviewed (start-up) so I can understand why everything might not have been in place, but I did appreciate him taking the time to walk me through and provide me with all the information he did, it really helped.

The office interview was well run and the interviewers asked some good questions that challenged me to think back to my past. They used a white board to outline a lot of their concepts and that helped. Questions were all on point and didn't seem like a waste of time. Interview team was polite and respectful and finished on time. Completed the interview with the guy I originally spoke with about the role on the phone. He let me know he would follow up with me either the next day or the day after that - and he did!!!!!!!! Everything was great and leaving the interview, I felt I had a strong grasp on what would be expected of me in this role.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked to walk through HOW I would solve a problem that I was given. Feedback was great from the interviewers and while I didn't solve the problem the way that they would have, they complimented me on how I went about coming to my solution, and shared how they came about theirs which was nice to hear - I also learned something from their explanation which I appreciated.   Answer Question
