    Interview

Overall, a disrespectful waste of time and energy. I applied via LinkedIn. In just a matter of a couple of days, I was asked to schedule a phone screen with the HR recruiter. Great, seemed like a potential good fit. I had the phone screen and the recruiter and I had a great conversation and there seemed to be mutual excitement. He specifically said he wanted to advance me to the hiring manager and asked me to email him some available times that week, which I did. Radio silence. The week goes by and I follow up. A bit more silence then finally a reply that he hasn't heard back from the team about the "current candidates." Why offer on the spot to schedule me with the hiring manager if you don't know she/he wanted to meet with me? I've never had this happen with another company, by the way. Even if they were further along with other candidates, he could have been more transparent and maybe he should have had me meet with the manager anyway since I was already screened. Finally, today, more than a month after the last email exchange I receive the official generic rejection email. My experience seems to echo the recruiting process of many here.

We are a flock of fierce animal lovers! Every year one of our birds takes the lead on collecting donations and goods for the MSPCA and Animal Rescue League to help furry friends (because, sometimes, it's not only people who need a little help). This year enough donations we raised for bluebird to sponsor a kennel for a full calendar year! #bluebirddays #thisispersonal #animallovers
