Advice to Management
Martin is easily the reason why Oceanside runs as well as it does. He knows everyone on a personal level, knows what they have, need, and require, and makes sure it's all done while being courteous and professional. He made sure I was brought up to speed and had everything I needed when I started and if I ever had an issue he made sure it was handled to the point where all parties were satisfied. Martin is a very key role to why Oceanside works as well as it does.
Having the old manager come back was a big blessing and you could feel the tension immediately leave when he took back over. I was sad to leave before getting a chance to work for him for a longer time frame but he was great in the time I did work for him.
As a cyber CSI tech working t Genentech you are a green badge and will remain a green badge. There is no hiding that or lies to it. But, the equipment you use is top notch, the technology is top notch, and everyone is there to help you whether on site or by email you will be helped. Now that opus is up and running the right way it was getting easier and easier to track things. It was nice to see that happen.
If I had any issue (and its a reach) I would have wanted to get paid more for what I was doing. But I think that had more to do with the previous manager and not the company as a whole.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at cyberCSI in May 2016.
Video Interview, Very unprofessional. Interviewer with baseball cap, hoodie, a patchy beard. Usually in a interview you will be asked questions and they will listen to answers, and move on. We stayed on one question for about 30 minutes. It was like he didn't like my answer so he made it a debate. I chose to end the interview because we could not move forward.
