Mission: We make the world’s best marketing professionals look and perform even better—within the industry and within their organization.
I worked at dataxu full-time (More than 3 years)
I worked in sales at dataxu for over four years and can honestly say that if you are independently motivated and are able to work autonomously there is a lot of opportunity to do well. You have support and visibility all the way up to the CEO and have opportunities to work along side the executive team. The direction we are headed with the technology to back it makes dataxu a solid career move for any seller. It's not easy by any means but if you are confident in a consultative selling role then you can do very well. Success here also leads to a great work life balance.
You need to be able to work very independently, you cannot rely on receiving a lot of sales support.
With any tech company, there are a lot of people coming and going.
Industry and direction of the sales org is constantly changing.
Advice to Management
Pay more attention to how each sales group is being managed and how much support the individual sellers are getting from their managers. Managers seem to be more concerned with internal communication up the chain and less concerned with helping sellers close deals.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at dataxu (Boston, MA) in April 2015.
They move quickly through the interview process. Probably you will have your result in 2-3 weeks with all the interviews done. First is a phone interview with a set of Java questions then they send you a test to code and send it back. Finally 3 back to back 1 hour technical rounds consisting of 2 people each.
dataxu named one of Bostinno's Coolest Companies!
