Mission: The best automated retail solution that allows consumers a safe and trustworthy way to recycle and receive instant value for their devices.
I have been working at ecoATM | Gazelle full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
- Great benefits
- On-site amenities
- Great company vision, and one that is executed well
- Profitable company
- Great people to work with
I've enjoyed being on the DevOps team. I get to work on the things that are relevant to my career growth. AWS, Docker, CI/CD, CM, Infrastructure-as-code, IoT, Linux, Security, Python, and more. The devs here are especially cool - smart people and great to work with.
Cons
- This is not a big, huge company. Some might not prefer a small or medium sized company.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing. I like the outreach and transparency
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at ecoATM | Gazelle (San Diego, CA) in May 2017.
Interview
I applied online and heard back the next day from HR. Scheduled a phone interview for a few days later, and finally an in-person interview about a week after that.
I felt like the interview went fairly well, though it had been six years since my last interview and I was probably a little rusty. Everybody I interacted with throughout the interview process was friendly and professional, which made me feel immediately comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience, even though I didn't receive an offer after the interview.
