I worked at g c services full-time (Less than a year)
I really enjoyed the people I worked with, everyone was very friendly for the most part. Most of the supervisors were very easy to talk to and voice your concerns and questions to. Mostly everyone I worked around was very helpful and worked as a team. If you did not know the answer to someone it was highly likely someone near you did!
It was sometimes very hard to find a supervisor on the floor and this created problems with time sensitive questions that customers had or when a customer requested to speak with a supervisor. When scheduling time off sometimes you would not know if it was approved or denied until the day before you needed off. I did not feel that there was much of a growth opportunity.
Advice to Management
Listen to your employees more and do not treat them like their concerns are unimportant.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at g c services (Knoxville, TN) in May 2015.
I was interviewed by a female senior reeking of cigarette smoke. The interview went well! I answered all her questions with probing questions. Deviating relevancy for my hopeful position, She showed some interest in state specific bankruptcy collection laws, which I advised ones I know of the top of my head. When describing hours I would work, she advised I would need to stay till 1pm to 8pm on two weekdays, which I replayed it would not be a problem. I inquired if the reason for staying late have to do with the FCC and time zone compliance, particularly account holders in CA, OR, NV, WA, and some of ID. She said yes; however, she incorrectly told me Nevada is not Pacific State. I did not correct her, thinking back, I probably should have. I could just tell she was annoyed.
