I have been working at iSpot.tv full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Everyone at iSpot is really supportive. It's a fun team working towards a common goal. Very positive work environment. Lots of positive energy. Good benefits and the company looks out for its employees. Open vacation policy. Good pay. Lots of smart people.

    Cons

Not many. Leans towards waterfall methodology where it might benefit with something more agile.

    Advice to Management

Hire smart people who bring positivity and a willingness to go the extra mile. Keep focusing on making an awesome place to work so we can hire and retain awesome people.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at iSpot.tv (Bellevue, WA) in January 2016.

    Interview

Contacted first by a recruiter for a short phone interview. Then I had another short interview with a person in the same role and finally the potential boss of the position. The final interview was a 4-hour in-person interview where I met with additional team members and presented back scenarios they had me work on.
