'IPO-ready' ironSource Waits for More Favorable Markets
Honored to be named by The Times of Israel as one of Israel's most successful startups.
ironSource builds monetization, engagement, analytics and discovery tools for app developers, device manufacturers, mobile carriers and advertisers. Our comprehensive solutions help industry leading companies achieve greater business success.
Our greatest asset at ironSource is our people. The average ironSource employee works hard, plays hard, and likes to take the initiative at every opportunity.
When it comes to technology, we invest in the best and the brightest. With over 50% of our employees in R&D, we make sure our technology stays best-in-class. Spread over several offices globally, we believe in maintaining a global center of gravity. No matter where our customers are, they’ll get local know-how with international expertise.
Originally founded by a team of developers building consumer applications, the ironSource founders quickly realized just how difficult it is to turn apps into a business. So they built an extensive suite of tools to help app developers succeed, and quickly became the market leader in application monetization and distribution. Since then, the company has continued in the same vein, continually building comprehensive solutions which empower mobile and digital businesses to do better.
ironLabs is ironSource’s internal innovation lab, giving us the competitive edge of a startup, even as we grow into a larger, global company. ironLabs ensures our size will never stop us from staying on the edge of innovation, giving us the license to take chances and create products outside of the scope of our core activities.
Our guiding principle
We developed our original platform to alleviate the pain points we encountered as developers ourselves, and ironLabs makes sure we stay true to that approach. By building, designing and nurturing new products, we stay close to the problems faced by all our clients.
I have been working at ironSource full-time
Great work culture, they truly care about their employees and this is made evident in their countless work events and culture building excercises
A lot of management control in their HQ, leaves satellite offices feeling codependent.
Advice to Management

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ironSource (San Francisco, CA) in August 2015.
All interviews completed in one day. It was four rounds of one on one interviews. We mainly reviewed previous experience and technical knowledge.
They asked a lot of hypothetical questions about sales and campaign strategies. It was a very straight forward discussion.
There were no dumb curve ball questions like "If you were an animal..."
