    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at kikki.K.

    Interview

Hour and a half interview. Started with background of company then went into fairly typical retail & ASM questions (what would you do if, describe a time when, etc). Interview finished with showing their ongoing performance review system of filling out forms each shift based on a sale you did and then showing me various formulas managers use to assess staff performance.

I was then given these sheets and told to go home and fill them out and use the maths I'd just been shown to assess that performance (ie I was given homework). I was told I would hear back from them early the week as to whether I progressed to next stage.

After a full week with no reply. I called and went to voicemail, I left a message. It was another two weeks before I received a call back to say I was unsuccessful, with cop out excuses about tech issues meaning recruitment had taken a back seat.

Was not impressed with being asked to take work home to do if I wasn't going to be successful to next interview (could have emailed the sheets to successful candidates rather than wasting people's time), plus the notification taking so long with a cop out excuse. The phone call took less than a minute - downright rude to leave a candidate waiting after a response was promised within days, and the "reason" shows a lack of consideration & respect to candidates

Experience has put me off applying for the brand in the future, and it had previously been one company that really appealed to me. If candidates are treated like that, how are staff treated?
