I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at nThrive (Alpharetta, GA) in July 2017.
Interview started with a phone screen, just going over some of my basic knowledge and background. After this interview, they expressed concerns about my lack of knowledge of one technology, but said they were willing to get me up to speed on it if hired. They scheduled a face-to-face, and I had to get myself down to alpharetta, GA.
The face-to-face was to be between me and 3 nThrive employees. One decided to work from home, and another didn't show up until 45 minutes in, which didn't matter much, since the first 20-30 minutes were spent dealing with technical issues. At this time, they asked me to go into more detail about my backround, explaining structures used in various projects. After this phase, We went into white-boarding. They gave a list of questions, and you picked a few (below). After this interview, they seemed really interested, and I went into the following day feeling really good. Afterwards, however, they declined me because I didn't have enough experience with the aforementioned technology, and they didn't actually want to spend the time getting me up to speed. As a result, I wasted hundreds of dollars travelling to an interview that I was never going to get in the first place because of a lie on their part.
