As an example, our nThrive tech colleagues are helping to drive innovation in a fun and inspiring way through participation in regular hackathons, which are sprint-like design events. Software engineers enjoy these day-long challenges each quarter where they work on a project of their choice to bring innovation to nThrive. The winner receives a trophy with their name on it (pictured here), which is passed on at every event. The ideas are often put into production, helping to transform health care.

    Application

    I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at nThrive (Plano, TX) in August 2016.

    Interview

    It was a group interview that was held right after the job fair. Immediately after the presentation we were led out of the room to take a tour of the building. From there the VP would single out people that he thought were good prospective employees and would speak to them. They then split our group into two and held a group interview in a conference room. Where we went around the table introducing ourselves and giving a little information about ourselves while the VP asked various questions.
