I have been working at philosophy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great build and networking. Building amazing relationships. Amazing place to work and you are a part of a family that wants to succeed.

    Cons

A lot of work to be done. You are the Owner of your business. A very big territory with multiple retailers to balance.

    Advice to Management

    Organize and divide the Work.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at philosophy in February 2014.

    Interview

I was approached by a boutique recruiting agency then was informed the interview had to happen that same day due to the schedule of the hiring manager. I felt uncomfortable going into the interview unprepared so we rescheduled for a skype interview. Coty had recently purchased this brand and was building a new team. The assistant from the recruiting agency mixed up the timezone and we had a hard time connecting. The interview ended up happening over the phone. The vibe was off, the manager did explain the responsibilities very well, however I did not think she was interested in hearing what I had to offer. I did not think that was my best performance due to a few uncomfortable questions.
