Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Fast paced and action oriented - if you don't like working on a growing brand that is #1 in voice of industry, you won't like symplr. Not your grandma's company... don't come to symplr if you want to

Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you're doing - listen to the employees and cease the opportunity.

I applied online. I interviewed at symplr (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2023

    Interview

Not a great interview process at all. First of they try to rush you through the process. After you interview they call you an hour later and ask to schedule one the next day. They don't give you many options for available times. After the final interview, I emailed the recruiter for a timeline as I was interviewing for other positions. Radio Silence. I think waiting a few more days and emailed the recruiter again. She had an out-of-office message and wasn't going to be back for 4 more days. Very unprofessional to move so quickly and then not care about the candidate's time.

They ask things that include situation questions.
