    Pros

The culture of thePlatform is one that is so unique and genuine that it is the reason most people stay as long as they do. The leadership team at thePlatform is one that is filled with strong leaders that work together to try and get things done.
The free snacks (fresh fruit from pikes place market included), amazing 401k, ORCA pass and health/dental benefits are also another great perk that thePlatform can offer.
The location in downtown Seattle is perfect, near all the best lunch restaurants and near all forms of transportation from ferry, to bus, light-rail and train.

    Cons

Being a subsidiary of Comcast makes it hard to get pay increases after you start or even get promotions once you have been an employee for awhile.
The amazing senior leadership team that works so well together, are often silenced by the executives at Comcast.

    Advice to Management

Stay united and stand up for your employees and this company will continue to grow and thrive, give up on what makes this company great and those phenomenal people will leave and bring down this one of a kind company that you have all worked so hard to build.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at thePlatform (Seattle, WA) in September 2016.

    Interview

It was the most negative experience with a company I have ever had. First they e-mailed me that they will not continue to interview me as the position is filled(It was a system generated mail). Then shortly they mailed me that they are still interviewing me for other position, but did not bother to describe the new position, when asked for it, the reply made me think if they are interested! And the interviewer clearly pushed me to not to be hired. The job description included 3+ experience in Java and strong Object Oriented programming but more front end questions were asked.
