    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at uSwitch.

    Interview

Great phone interview followed by a very long take-home technical test. Responses to the test were not positive - deflating as I'd spent a whole weekend on the thing, and the assessment (leaked by the recruiter) was phrased in rather cutting language. They agreed to let me resubmit - but never bothered looking at my second version. The interview was long, dry and awkward, and I ended up feeling a bit horrified hearing their ancient CI and QC processes.

Afterwards I got a no, as I "didn't quite have enough senior experience" - but why couldn't they tell me that before spending a whole weekend on a test?!
