My team is going back hybrid. I'm not happy about it, but with the market the way it is now, I'm just going to have to suck it up for now.

Been in Signal with an Alex Crammer with Teksystems for an Administration Assistant job with CVS. Deposited a check and wants me to send a $1,000 to someone for software installation. Can this be a scam. As per my bank I’m waiting 4 business days to see if the check is valid. Momma didn’t raise a fool. Just sounds off.

How is the work life balance working remote as a pharmacy tech? If I need to step away and tend to my kids or run an errand is that possible?

Since you'll be working with insurance companies and doctors who most likely have regular 8-5 business hours, I think you might have a hard time flexing your work outside of those hours.

Depending on the company, you actually may be able to. We have an hour lunch break, but can separate it as needed. I can take 15min here and there as a "break" adding up to 1hr. Check with your company's policy, but it is possible.

At our facility, back office staff can work from home two days out of the week. This hybrid policy is standard at most companies.

In healthcare industry, you have to have a suitable work environment where HIPAA laws aren't broken. Nobody can be walking around your work area where they can see PHI (Private Health Information). If you're doing a customer-facing role where you take/make phone calls - No children running around screaming in the background, no dogs barking, etc. They want it as professional as possible. They'll also require you to have good internet speeds, as they might use a Virtual Desktop Interface and several applications all at once. My workplace sent me all the necessary hardware, and if any healthcare company says you'll be using your own equipment - BE SKEPTICAL! It might be a scam job. Because of the large amounts of PHI you'll be handling, they typically DON'T want that on somebody's personal computer.

I would give it the two weeks they said and then follow up after that if you haven’t heard.

I would wait the two weeks and then give them a call, it's ok to follow up but only after the allotted time frame they've given you

Applying for a job with CVS Health. Just wondering if the metrics are unattainable or if everyone meets them with no problem? I read in reviews you don't get time for breaks, is that true?

It is challenging for sure! It needs to get better! Make sure that if you get hired press them to follow the laws of the land! I don’t want lunch break so I can opt out! Most places breaks are in accordance with the laws federally or of the state you’re in! Have the knowledge going in! Be your own advocate! Nothings hurts a company then bad press!
