    I worked at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get paid better than minimum wage.
You can earn a $25 bonus for reaching sales goals.

    Cons

Exposure to bed bugs and scabies.
A competing company doing jobs in the same area gets paid 50% more than you will, but you'll be under contract not to work for them.
Management doesn't take their promise of a raise after 90 days seriously.
If you opt to get insurance through the company and are married with a kid, you'll only ever see 60% of your pay.

I worked at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? (More than a year)

    Pros

    Interesting work, Sometimes good coworkers

    Cons

    Pay is low, Poor management

    Advice to Management

Stop penalizing employees arbitrarily. Clearly communicate the time truck team members will go home. Many days went from 7 am - 7 pm or later, especially in the summer. Also, let your employees take a lunch break. If we were stopped for more than 5 minutes we were called and asked to continue to the next job or were given another job. It's intense labor, you need food to do a good job.

    I worked at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Had a good time and the other people there were good people. Easy work for the most part. A third of the day is just driving around. I almost doubled my salary with tips, and I learned a lot about recycling. Some of the best part time work out there.

    Cons

At least once a month I got dirty

    Advice to Management
