    I worked at 100 Montaditos

    Pros

    Great coworkers, flexible schedules, compensation

    Cons

Corporate does not care for its employees. Two stores in the Miami-area were shut down from one day to the next. We were not given any notice ahead of time. We all showed up to work our shift and were told on the spot that we were no longer employed and that the store was closing for good. Tried speaking to corporate and any higher ups and have been given the silent treatment. Not a reliable/secure company to work for at all.

I have been working at 100 Montaditos part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The best thing about montaditos are the team members you get to work with. Almost everyone is pretty much nice and supportive. The only other thing is dollar wednesdays. Since everything is a dollar, people tend to tip more.

    Cons

The pay sucks not only for cashiers but for the kitchen and bussers as well. As a cashier you only make 4.50/hr and have to rely on tips to even get a decent pay check. The issue is that the way the restaurant is set up, most customers dont feel the need to tip. They have to come up and order their food and get up again to pick it up when its ready. Also, a lot of the employee rules are bogus and after a hard days work you barely recieve a discount off your meal, yet alone a fountain drink.
