    Pros

Earn 5 hours PTo every two weeks

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations and pressure to resolve the members issues while using several systems, not enough training and very short hold time. You are micro managed and absolutely every step you take is being watched on and off the call. This is a call center so you are tied to the phone all day. Try not to use the restroom if not on break because it will go against your adherence. Adherence must be at a 97% or above. Make sure not to be even a minute late from any break because a minute will cause a half an occurrence. Four occurrences equal a write up. You can also earn an occurrence for you or your child being sick or having a true emergency with doctors note. the occurrence will stay on your record for a year.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if management supported what the preach. United Healthcare is all about compassion. It is drilled and painted very nicely into your brain when you begin your employment. Training is not organized and a lot shorter than promised.

    Pros

    Good vacation time. That's it.

    Cons

No sick days, no life happens waivers, no FMLA for a year, they want you to care about the members but management doesn't care about the agents. You learn nothing in training. You're in training for 3.5 months and will come out to the floor lost. And they lie about rules so you get screwed.

    Advice to Management

Those compassion pillars and core values that you drill into your agents to live everyday...You should be applying those to your everyday interaction with your agents as well. Assuming positive intent. Showing compassion. Not thinking we are all a bunch of lazy liars that are out to avoid work at all costs.
