Great Place to be Creative
May 12, 2014 - Multimedia Designer in Washington, DCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
They really encourage creative thinking and out of the box thinking. You get to wear jeans every day (unless there is a meeting of course) and they love their work. They supply Macbook Pro laptops with dual screen monitors, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Cons
As a start up company they are still experimenting with management structure and want to be a 'flat' company, but it was creating some tension within the teams. They insist you work onsite (at least the designers)

Pros
401k with employer matching, Health insurance, generous PTO.
Cons
Low wage- some discrepancy between working as a contractor, and working with military (Family Days off- morale events- etc)

Well established old line company
Oct 4, 2021 - S E N I O R A C C O U N T D I R E C T O RRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Established and well respected name in the industry Good support and back end fulfillment teams Good subject matter experts
Cons
Does not collect their own data. Old line company not interested in making the customer journey easier. Can take too long before you find the right group in FA as the company is large.

Pros
Some of the pros for working in my particular office were: military chain of command was supportive, coworkers were generally nice and easy to get along with, pay was better compared to other options in the community, annual paid training opportunities were appreciated.
Cons
Complaints to management results in little observable action being taken to remedy problems with providers, litle to no regular communication with mangement, pay was higher than other options within the community but did not properly reflect the work being done by administrative staff.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
No Education Monies
Mar 10, 2021 - Family Advocacy Nurse in Anchorage, AKRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good starting salary. Once they hire you they basically leave you to yourself.
Cons
No money allowed for educational opportunities

Small Contract Company
Apr 7, 2015 - Anonymous Employee in Washington, DCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company is small and has experienced both excellent grown and cuts. The employees at the L'Enfant office have a very close family like environment. For the most part everyone gets along well together and often hang out outside of work. As a company we have gone on a cruise, played soccer, participated in 5K's and much more. When opportunities are presented they try to include everyone and if you want to be a part of something, you can just ask. Often everyone in the office touches the same project at some point in the process. Management has an open door policy at all times. It is easy to talk to all levels of management about good and bad topics. When there is an issue everyone is honest and tries to provide solutions or a positive spin. They expect you to come in and do your job to the very best, and if you do that you can be successful here.
Cons
It is a small company that has experience growing pains as well a the loss of contracts. There are a lot of ups and downs around projects. The weeks where projects are in full force it can be exhausting and constant work, the weeks between projects are too slow.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
The company is small which is nice because you feel like a family. The work is interesting and the size makes the company more agile and responsive to needs.
Cons
Because the company is small, management can be an issue as projects have different people tracking them or managing them. Wish they gave more days off, or allowed a stipend for cell phones.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Great place to work. Great team.
Cons
Better organization. Needs more structure in place. Politics.

Bottom of the Barrel Company, "Owners," and Employees
Oct 11, 2016 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Truly none. They represent the lowest common denominator in every possible way. Avoid this place like you would a deadly virus.
Cons
Come up with a topic and it will secure a big ole "Con." Nothing good to say about 'em. Everyone will agree. Just ask 'em.
