I have been working at 2020 Companies (More than a year)

    Pros

I was on the NRG campaign, and it was easy work, management wasn't breathing down your neck, great pay.

    Cons

I was ok, but people who can't work without structure shouldn't apply.

    Advice to Management

Be a little more aware and don't exaggerate as much.

I have been working at 2020 Companies full-time

    Pros

    Fantastic Communication
Great opportunity to partner with talent and further sharpen skill set
    Weekly Payroll
    Transparent roles and expectations
    Advancements up the ladder possible
    Managers do recognize talent

    Cons

Experience, Talent, and Performance doesn't translate to pay rate. Meaning if there are 15 in same role and you shine you'll still be paid tge same as someone who dosent pay attention.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent and clear on expectations.

I have been working at 2020 Companies part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-The company is usually hands off when you go into retail stores so you're free to manage yourself.

    Cons

-But because it's hands off, don't expect to get recognized or get much opportunity to move up unless you're a sycophant or something.

    Advice to Management

Remember that we're more than standard retail employees; we're professionals who should be treated as such.

I have been working at 2020 Companies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, from time to time, to start a day late (for appointments etc) or end the day early. A lot of really good people in assigned doors. New phones twice a year. Go to Dallas for new hire orientation and travel twice a year for training.

    Cons

Schedule is changing from Mon to Fri to Wed to Sun without notice, communication or even acknowledgement from leadership.

The tools to get the job done are not provided.

Literally drive your car into the ground for no compensation.

Bonus goals are getting harder to meet and the numbers used to calculate quarterly bonuses are not communicated until after the bonuses are paid. How can you meet numbers you have no insight into?

It's sold as a Sales Manager position but has become a Retail Support (merchandising, brand advocate etc) job over the last few months.

You're 3rd Party Labor for Samsung. 2020 and Premium Retail both employ Sales Managers for Samsung. Both sets of employees work together under the same Samsung Manager but .... you'll make alot less than a "neighboring" Premium Retail Sales Manager.

    Advice to Management

Communication, communication, communication. Taking away holidays with hardly any notice doesn't bode well for employee morale or effectiveness. Provide the numbers employee bonuses are paid on early and often so they can course correct or address discrepancies. Be honest about where this position is heading. Holding out a carrot that this could lead to a career at Samsung is wishful thinking at best, dishonest at worst. Address the pay disparity among 3PL's. As long as 2020 pays so much less it'll be a revolving door.

I have been working at 2020 Companies part-time

    Pros

    Good pay, laid back environment

    Cons

Ok management but they will they work you full time hours as part time give like 35 hours on the dot which is technically full time

    Advice to Management

    Better scheduling

    Pros

Great energy and morale heading into the future. Promising clients and opportunities for driven vets and new millennials to set the tone for their career. I’m elated to be onboard.

    Cons

This market is new so we’ll have some hiccups and rookie mistakes, but there’s definitely promise in the midst of the madness. I believe thorough communication through every stream, proper placement of workers and solid clients will push us all to success.

    Advice to Management

Keep faith that what you’re doing is best for the team’s future only after open-minded discussion with those able to make a difference for the future.
