I have been working at 21st Century Oncology full-time

    Pros

Learn a lot with all the updated equipment.

    Cons

Front desk nor nurses have any management. Not matching 401K again. Their health insurance is horrible considering the number of employees they have. No over time. Most front desk do not get a lunch although they are told to clock out. They do nothing for moral. Raises are hit and miss. They save a great deal of money when the entire company does not get a raise.

    Advice to Management

To much micro management going on. They do not take the time to listen to employees concerns as they are "too busy".

    I worked at 21st Century Oncology full-time

    Pros

Diverse work, never boring. Workaholics dream. Can be existing and fulfilling if you work in the right position. Always something to learn to increase your skills.

    Cons

Low pay based on Florida wages, top executive level based on nepotism. Executive level turns blind eye to negative cultural influences if money is involved.

    Advice to Management

Expand your horizons and don't be afraid to speak to the C suite to one day make them realize the company does not revolve around their personal worlds.

    Pros

A multinational oncology company with a primary emphasis in urological radio-therapy, that has a vested interest in office management.

    Cons

Local office management could be a deficit in view of it's national office base in the state of Florida.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and keep moving forward.

I worked at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

    Cons

No raises, Insurance not great,Pay is low for couriers compared to other companies. Management only cares about lining their own pockets with bonuses by not giving raises. Company has lost multi-million dollar lawsuits but admit no wrong doing is laughable. Companies revenue was 606 million debt was 1.1 billion do the math. Company only cares about the dollar and not the patient. Daniel E Dosoretz does not run the company at this time and is no longer the CEO. Most management positions at least at the corporate office are family members who are not qualified to be in these positions. I guarantee the Government is watching closely. Take this job as a last resort but you have been warned.

    Advice to Management

Management should be fired from the top down.

    Pros

Good pay and stable company, 401K

    Cons

While health insurance is offered, high premiums, co-pays, and deductibles are the downside of the health insurance company the plans are through.

I worked at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary is good if you can negotiate it right when you start, don't expect any raises.
    Pay and insurance are OK.
If you have an MBA and are ok with travel, you can climb the ladder very quickly and use this job to jump to a good position elsewhere.

    Cons

    Little to no training.
    Poor management.
    No clear mission or goals.
    Little to no raises
Little opportunity to move up from the position you are hired to fill.
Lots of nepotism and "lifers" who have been occupying key positions for 10+ years

    Advice to Management

Most middle management spends their time avoiding upper management and any type of conflict rather than proactively taking on projects and accomplishing them. Every action is a reaction to a some kind of complaint from upper management or the board. This company's main mission is growth and new acquisitions, so on the front end they promise new providers the world and act like they are giving away free money. Meanwhile, back stage the other 90% of the company is struggling to keep up with demand using inadequate, untrained staff and non-existent budgets. Everyone is so busy filling potholes that they never get around to paving new roads. Management needs to pay attention to their employees and actually lead, not just delegate tasks.
