I worked at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A multinational oncology company with a primary emphasis in urological radio-therapy, that has a vested interest in office management.

    Cons

Local office management could be a deficit in view of it's national office base in the state of Florida.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and keep moving forward.

I have been working at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Hard to really think of any. People who have worked there for any amount of time are ready to leave..

    Cons

Management is horrible. Restructured many times. Worse every time. Place inexperienced people with ZERO management skills, background or training...and lead it straight down. Morale is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Please hire someone from outside the company to manage and staff the company. It will never get any better this way.

    Pros

At least you have a job is the best pro I can think of at this time nothing else applies.

    Cons

Salary range for radiation therapist in job ad is $53 - $76, this is a lie. $56-$60 is what they tell you in actual interview.

    Advice to Management

If you take care of your employees they will take care of you.

I have been working at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits and pay are ok (no worse than any other company).

    Cons

I think it's a terribly run company. Corporate has no idea what goes on at the other locations. The location I am at there is NO communication from the manager. No training. Manager is rude and treats employees like children. During snowbird season, staff is understaffed and overworked, overtime is expected. Staff constantly complain about the manager. Oh, and you are also the cleaning crew, there is no cleaning service, this is the dirtiest clinic I have ever worked in.

    Advice to Management

21st Century is having financial problems, maybe because some locations have employees constantly working overtime. Hire some staff, even part time. Visit locations and find out what is going on.

I have been working at 21st Century Oncology full-time

    Pros

None, no pros about this place.

    Cons

Poor pay, no benefits, no raises in years, bad management, no CEO or CFO except two incompetent outsiders.
The company culture is toxic, I have not worked for a more corrupt, unethical and incompetent group than 21c. The company had a breech of patient data and was fined by the Fed. The company is not capable of the most basic level of security and has no controls over anything. It is basically a banana republic entity that somehow convinced investors to lend them money, unbelievable.
Company went through a top to bottom restatement of the past 5 years worth of financial statements.

    Advice to Management

    Quit

I worked at 21st Century Oncology full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wonderful patient interaction. Learned more job skills.

    Cons

Management does not know how to run the office. They do not communicate professionally with the staff. They blame the staff for errors and take all the praise for things done well. The office managers and regional manager do not think they need training. They literally went to training and told the instructor they didn't need that training. Yet they couldn't pass the proficiency quiz.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff. Communicate professionally. Be open go training.
