Pros
probably depends on the contract and who your PM is. I worked in a great environment and had an awesome PM that was supportive of his good staff and didn't take sh!t from the deadweight. Pay seemed pretty good. Would pay for pro certification exams if you pass it.
Cons
The medical and other benefits weren't that great. can't remember what the 401k match was, but it was average at best.

Pros
Very autonomous work environment. Small company means that you'll get to have a large, role in many projects. Fast-paced and interesting.
Cons
There's a very large work-load. Sometimes you'll have little to no support because there is such a large workload. Management isn't always the most helpful because they are so busy.
