I have been working at 24/7 Home Health Care part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Just Experience, if you need a job experience this is a start

    Cons

The mailing of the notes, the payroll deadline, they want to come down to the office too much and if you live far out they make no arrangements to make things more efficient for you.

    Advice to Management

Better payroll. We should not have to mail our route sheets in. I have called another company and they have the phone clock in system where you call to clock in and out at the clients homes. That system would take a lot of the stress of mailing in our route sheets by 5pm Monday cause we cannot control the mail and how it goes plus it costs money every week cause of how many note's we may have. There should be a better payroll system. I do what I can but to miss payroll because the mail wasn't on time isn't right. I worked hard and the note were in. The phone calling system would be better. I have experienced it with other companies and it's great. The nurses would get paid on time cause it goes through the system and to have a paper trail we can still mail our route sheets in just for paper record. It is more stressful to worry about mailing stuff in and getting to the post office to mail priority mail and all that. The office in Covina has that system and I have never been with a company who has it and I even called another 24 7 company in the same state and they told me they don't use that system it's the phone system. This really should change. It adds stress just to mail in route sheets and notes when we can just call the system and we are clocked in and out.

    Pros

I feel like there is a lot of room to grow in this company and the amount of options I've been given is pretty great. It's not easy work but I feel like I'm going somewhere.

    Cons

There aren't really any cons other than the usual stuff.

    Pros

Great recruitment process, Friendly staff, Family environment, fun, and we help people!

    Cons

None, I literally cannot think of anything negative to say about this company.

    Advice to Management

It's funny how someone being so nice and welcoming over the phone during a recruitment call can change your life. The Director of Recruitment made me feel welcomed and was very open and honest about the company and actually listened to me. From the phone interview to the in-person interview, to the follow-up. It was flawless. It showed me so much about how the company operates and made me fall in love with this company.

    Pros

A good environment for the staff and the culture makes employees feel like they are part of the family. It’s easy for any person regardless of position to get their voice heard and senior management is aware of what’s going on.

    Cons

Work Load can be hard to handle sometimes and more people are always being hired.

I worked at 24/7 Home Health Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    good pay for field staff

    Cons

You will be constantly overworked, micromanaged, and expected to have no life of your own. Crappy pay with no yearly reviews or raises for office staff. Clinical supervisors with no real working experience who review your paperwork, but not turn it in on time so that your pay gets docked through no fault of your own. Owners who promise all kinds of perks, then fail to follow through. Total lack of communication. Outrageous staff turnover!

    Advice to Management

Hire people who actually have home health experience-----and LEARN from them!
