    Pros

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating to my fitness needs and wants. No one forces me to do anything I don't want to do.

    Cons

It is a fairly expensive membership fee. paying 60 dollars a month to work out almost makes it not worth it.

    Pros

Clear path for advancement into management of a company posed for growth. Fun and social work environment, like-minded exercise nuts create a vivacious community. Great top-down concern for treating employees fairly. A lot of leadership comes from gym managers who are able to lead at the staff level. and can create a unique culture with members and staff.

    Cons

As any large company, they haven't really stepped up and taken a role as a trend setter within the industry. 24 Hour Fitness strives to be the "average gym for every day folks"--it would be great to see them push the boundaries of creativity and try something wild instead of adopting the trends a little late in the game. But that isn't 24HF's MO. It is all about low membership cost and customer value.

    Advice to Management

Considering the ubiquity and brand power of 24, I'd love to see them do more grassroots marketing at the regional level, and harness the power of a socially-connected community to bring in new members. 24 Hour Fitness plays a unique role in preventive medicine for lowering obesity and associated diseases, I'd love to see the organization call it like it is and pledge to not only change lives, but change whole communities. Provide a social good, rather a social GREAT, by showing citizens how they can take full control of their personal health and vitality.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, upward mobility, easy, fun

    Cons

Didn't pay well, insurance was a joke

    Advice to Management

I would pay more attention to compensation at the club level. People can not eat and pay bills on wages barley above minimum.
