    Pros

24Seven is truly an exceptional company to work for. Leadership provides the support you need to be successful. They do not micromanage but are 100% there when you need help or advice.

The environment is very positive- we work hard but everyone is encouraging and has a team mentality. There is also huge opportunity for upward movement and increased compensation. Each individual is largely in control of their total comp which is exciting and motivating.

I would definitely recommend 24Seven to anyone looking for a new position. I am lucky to be part of such an amazing team

    Cons

There could be a bit more flexibility in terms of work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing :)

    I worked at 24 Seven Talent full-time

    Pros

The perks and office location were nice.

    Cons

    -Leadership is absent
-Co-workers and management are too gossipy and cliquey
-The work is very redundant and mindless, not stimulating

    Advice to Management

Actually manage and teach your other leaders to manage as well. If you want your employees and company to be successful, you really need to give them the tools to be successful and not by being condescending - especially new hires. This was easily the worst and most unpleasant job I've ever had, I've never experienced what I had here. It seems as though management needs an absolute overhaul and retraining on how to be leaders by example, instill an actual training program, and also be more aware of who is actually qualified to be a leader and manager when promoting employees. Great numbers don't mean someone can also be a leader or manager. I had higher hopes.

    Pros

It's nice to have an office in Soho

    Cons

-Poorly compensated relative to the market with commission structure being the real issue.
-Too often people are limited with what they can do because of the politics involved in the business. You can't work with any person/company you want.

    Advice to Management

There are far too many employees at the company that have unnecessary or made up jobs you won't find at other search firms. People in a revenue generating role have to make up for it. The overall compensation numbers are lower to cover the salaries of those employees.

    I worked at 24 Seven Talent full-time

    Pros

    - In recruiting or business development, you can make a pretty good living.
    - You get to work with very well known clients
    - Great work/life balance
    - Stocked kitchen, back massages (if you can book an appointment which is really tough), ice cream Thursdays in the Summer.
    - Pretty generous PTO once you have been there a few years

    Cons

    - No real room for growth.
    - Health insurance is very expensive
    - Training could be a lot better.
    - Employee morale is sinking fast

    Advice to Management

It seems the only way to get promoted or have your pick of clients/jobs is to quit, or threaten to quit. Quite a few people left and came back and were rewarded with more money and a better title. And very junior people on certain teams are promoted quickly while more senior people with higher billing are not. There's no rhyme or reason to it. How do you think that makes long standing and loyal employees feel? That''s the reason a lot of senior people have left recently, and don't be surprised if others do too.

I worked at 24 Seven Talent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The IT guys are the best.

    Cons

Simply put- this company is a joke. The people who are great are the ones who are not in positions of leadership. There is little to no communication between management and the rest of the company, and sometimes it feels as though leadership goes out of their way to make you feel like crap. There are good people at this company who want to work hard and do their job, but leadership tears them down, is incredibly condescending, and all around awful to work with. My office had over thirty people come and go in my 9 months there (I was one of them). Those who did not opt to leave on their own were forced out (accounts stolen, etc). The company was acquired not long ago and it’s easy to see why. Such a disaster, awful place to work, I have never been as miserable as I was when I worked here (and I’ve worked retail on Black Friday). STAY AWAY. There is another review from me on here which is positive- that's because upper management BEGGED my team to get on here and write positive reviews. Do NOT believe anything positive about this place- at least the hideousness that is the DTLA office. The others are probably fine.

    Advice to Management

Get your acts together. Your upper management is in serious need of a reality check (VP level employees), as well as a course on how to be a good manager. There is no communication between upper and lower management, and my department was left without leadership for months... Just awful. You boast about the amount of women in your office but it's nothing to be proud of when they are all awful to one another. Additionally, there is no transparency on your job, career opportunities-- nothing. Stay away.

you can possibly get a weekly massage if you're quick enough from when it posts. they say you get ice cream sundays, but its only in the summer and you don't get summer fridays or anything

    Cons

Everything. Management is horrible and mean, coworkers are petty. Top management keeps secrets from the employees, the turnover is extremely high. They do not value their employees, especially at the corporate level. Corporate is treated terribly, by management and by the BDs and AMs. Very hostile work environment.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate how you treat corporate employees, and value your employees... turnover happens for a reason...
