    I worked at 24Hr Homecare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    I started out as an account manager and in 1.5yrs was a general manager running my own office. Growth opportunities are tremendous here and 24hr always promotes based on merit. Industry is growing rapidly and 24hr is THE leader of homecare in every department. If you are at a point in your career where you are ready to work hard to get to where you want to be, it is a great place to join.

    People and culture are fantastic and the best part of the company. Upper management is innovative, genuine and listens to their employees. Had amazing coworkers who worked very hard, did great work and were all incredible people.

    Work is interesting and always changing. It really connects having a great working environment and doing something that is serving the community. It also pays well and you can have all of that while making a good living yourself.

    This company changed my life and made me 10x more capable, responsible and confident in business. It also gave me lifelong friends and experiences I'll never forget. If you are considering joining the company you are coming in at the absolute best time, as they are poised to be even more successful in the coming years. Get ready to catapult your career and make awesome friends. All that is required is perseverance, belief, genuinity and a positive attitude. 👍

    Cons

    There are industry challenges that put strain on all homecare companies namely caregiver shortages and tons of growth. 24hr has adjusted and consolidated their operations to contend with the changing landscape. The management involved with this are extremely capable and continue to make the company better for both internal and external staff.

    Awesome work culture. Everyone is young and full of positive energy. The benefits and perks are better than most companies. Management is ver approachable and seem to genuinely care about their employees.

    -corporate perks
    -birthday off
    -Rewarding
    -great manager who is very supportive
    -the owners really do care about their clients and employees
    -many opportunities to move up in the company
    -hours are flexible (which is great for those who go to school)
    -I have met many great people here

    Cons

    The environment can be VERY stressful; however, what makes it 10x more stressful and frustrating is when you work with SEVERAL people in your team who have poor work ethic. As a result of this poor work ethic, it results in an increased workload for those who do work. This creates a bit of unfairness, especially when we are suppose to be working as a team.

    Advice to Management

    Show appreciation for those who work hard. A little appreciation goes a LONG way.

    Pros

    It is exciting to work for a company that is an industry leader and that has ambitious expansion plans. The company's best assets are the people working here from our care staff all the way up to our ownership!

    Cons

    The hours are improving but they are still pretty long. The industry is challenging as your looking after someone's well-being and our client's expect the very best!

    Advice to Management

    The employees of this company are looking forward to seeing continued expansion and going from a medium sized company to a nationwide, household name!

    - Families are great to work with
    - Support from Staff
    - Plenty of job opportunities
    - Flexibility for hours

    Cons

    - Lazy overnight call-center crew
    -Disgusting pay for what you deal with
    - Staff does not tell you about client / case before you take shifts.
    - Disorganized at times.
    - don't get compensated higher for "VIP clients".

    Gives raises ever so often.

    Pros

    Friendly staff, they are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. They train very well, and the tests are easy.

    Cons

    Low pay
    Office needs better communication, they called 6 times in one hour for the same client, after I explained to them I couldn't take the shift.

    Train your office employees
