    Pros

Company provides a clothing allowance, benefits.

    Cons

CEO is the worst, she does not foster a team environment. She degrades her employees and does not value them. Bonafide hostile work environment and discriminatory practices.

I worked at 3.1 phillip lim full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Had an amazing team, but that's not the case with every department. Learned a lot. My bosses entrusted me with more responsibilities as time went on.

    Cons

My direct managers had a high turnover (three within one year). Management needs better training on how to actually manage. It's obvious there's a hierarchy of which team is most important (and it was not the one I was part of). They rarely give raises anymore and when they do, it's the absolute bare minimum. Not good at showing their employees are appreciated.

I worked at 3.1 phillip lim full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fully sponsored healthcare, summer Fridays. Major downsizing has brought many of the staff closer together and the culture has a little less of the catty fashion office politics than it used to.

    Cons

Very near constant downsizing for multiple years. Raises are rare. The company is stretching every last dime to the max. Long hours. This is still a traditional fashion company, so don't expect to be valued or respected if you don't have the right look/aren't part of the right clique, no matter how good your work is.

    I worked at 3.1 phillip lim full-time

    Pros

-Clothing allowance (but its prorated if you leave the company before the year)

    Cons

-Terrible work culture (comes from the CEO mostly), big reason for the unusually high turnover -CEO doesn't foster an environment of trust or open communication, it's her way or the highway -People are overworked and underpaid, except the directors and executives -Disorganized in every way possible -Performs as if they're still a startup -Departments don't communicate with each other

    Pros

really great team, for the most part people spoke to interns with respect and had reasonable expectations, Unfortunately I worked for a very nasty person.

    Cons

there was zero effort to communicate direction, head of department set you up to fail, because she honestly enjoyed playing blame game. For example she screamed at me for deleting a page of an internal document. Upon further review it was clear the page never existed, because she never completed the work and needed someone to blame. Her temper was abusive and vindictive. Instances such as these happened on a near daily basis.
