Great culture and Great Morals
Jan 8, 2015 - Inside/Outside Sales in San Jose, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I worked at 360 for over year. Started in Inside Sales and ramped up to Outside Sales. I grew to love the culture very quickly. Owning and operating a merchant service business (and profiting) requires more than work ethic; you need to be both street smart and book smart. Steve and Lisa are two of the smartest well-rounded individuals I know. They were promoted and pivoted from division manager roles at one of the leading payment processors and started a successful company with their backs to the wall. They live and breathe the industry. They sell for the long term, on education and trust (which is hard to come by in this market). They are always working on leveraging partnerships and packing good software product offerings to make it easier for reps. As long as the numbers were there, they were very lax with schedule, etc. lots of happy hours/events - lots of sports, we competed in multiple seasons of dodgeball and softball (which I miss). To this day I still feel like I’m saving merchants from their situation when I tell them to check out 360. Couldn’t recommend 360 more.
Cons
Depends what you're in to. They are a small operation competing against big banks for business. The comp plans rewards the consistent and persistent salesman. If you've been in the industry, you know the challenges you face. Can be tough to work through the overall credit card processing "rep" persona that you must overcome when prospecting, but those are all hurdles you would face with any other independent MS sales role out there.

Thanks so much for the great review! We know the stereotypes of our industry can be tough to overcome, but that's why we're working hard every day to change them and to prove there's something different out there. We'll never stop!

Great up and coming company
Feb 13, 2018 - Tech Support in Campbell, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
As far as workplaces go, 360 is a lot of fun and most of the bs I've seen at other places is absent here. People work hard, but they make it fun. The company is small and growing so there is a lot of opportunity to stretch yourself and work outside of your job description. Executive leadership is fully engaged, approachable, and as near as I can tell have an authentic desire to be "the good guys" in a typically less than stellar industry.
Cons
The flip side of being a small and growing company is of course, growing pains. Lot's of processes being put in place and not everything is perfect from the get go. I'll say however that managements approach to figuring out what works and what doesn't is spot on so even this is kind of a pro unless you really don't do well with change.

Fun, Flexible, and A Great Place to Grow
Feb 13, 2018 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
360 Payments is a rising star in the payments industry, and I'm thrilled to be along for the ride. The culture can really be summed up in one word - family. Of course we have our differences from time to time, but I never doubt that anyone in the company would go to bat for me at any time for any reason. Everyone wears many hats in a fast-paced, always-changing environment so it's a great place to learn new skills and test yourself. To that end, management provides the support and training needed to continuously grow into new roles as the company evolves.
Cons
No company is perfect, but I appreciate that when issues do come up people take them seriously and work together to solve them.

An invigorating, challenging and socially rewarding work environment!
Mar 26, 2014 - Vice President of Operations in San Jose, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company is small but growing, and is poised to make huge and innovative contributions within the credit card processing industry. 360 genuinely cares about connecting with their customers as well as their employees; it is hard to distinguish where the lines of employment end and friendship begins. If you are interested in being surrounded by creative, ambitious, and inspiring individuals - not to mention an adorable office mascot (Roxy the dog) - then this is the place for you!
Cons
Personal accountability and consistency is a must. The owners and managers regularly provide training, incentives and inspiration, however, nothing is handed to you. Those looking to coast through the day will not find what you're looking for here. Work hard, however, and you will see results.

Customer service and Technical Support
Jan 30, 2017 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I loved working with the 360 team! It was always a warm and inviting team to be with everyday. There work was always so personal and upfront with all the customers, which I loved. They give you a face to the name rather than working with someone across the country! I think having such a young youthful group of people to work with helps make it so much brighter. Lisa and Steve know how to keep things exciting and know how to make the work environment relate to their staff! I highly recommend this job to people as well as using them as a service for the business!
Cons
That when I moved I couldn't commute there....because I was over an hour away :(

Pros
360 Payments has an amazing team that I am honored to be working alongside. The owners, Lisa and Steve, are driven, honest, and very giving. They take care of their employees and are very passionate about doing the same for their customers. The balance of family and business is refreshing coming from corporate positions in the past. The office has an awesome set up and designed for employee happiness! 360 Rocks!
Cons
Small Business comes with being each employee needing to be able to wear many hats, which can be looked at negatively. I personally love the excitement and variety of wearing many hats.

Awesome Company Culture - a home away from home

This may be a smaller, younger company, but from my experience it is the people that make the place, and the people here are truly amazing. Working at 360 you are a part of a family. A family that is 100% open, honest, exciting and fun, you will absolutely be recognized & rewarded for your hard work at this company. We have a work hard play hard company mentality, from our office pets to our softball and dodgeball teams, work and enjoyment always go hand in hand here. I love coming to work each day at this company and look forward to growing with 360.
