I have been working at 3form full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

On site gym, on site doctor, vacation time (I get 4 weeks plus the week between Christmas and New Years)

    Cons

No room for growth. I stay because the other perks can’t be beat.

    I worked at 3form full-time

    Pros

Onsite gym, health clinic, and personal trainers. Fresh fruit and vegetables (except not anymore with the budget cuts). Full week of Christmas to new years off.

    Cons

Depending on what you're doing, you might get to deal with micromanagers, general bullies and or people that don't know what they are doing.

It feels like you're busy just to be busy, for products/services that will most likely not get used or sold.

You rarely get to have time for enhancing products and internal processes that are super inefficient.

    Advice to Management

The 5 by 5s ruined the whole budget.

I have been working at 3form full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Select employees, Gym, time off at end of the year, 3form trying to provide a fun working environment with sodas, fruits, etc...

    Cons

CCO and overall business dealings are sub par and product is beyond expensive. Focus is to provide a better form of attention to customers and to be transparent however CCO and other management don't seem to have a real direction on how to perform this and seem lost. CCO and upper management don't seem to value employee input and when talking to them eye contact and attention wanders in other directions and is completely unprofessional. Training is not worth mentioning as there is none, hours and weekends are constant, when interviewed was asked many times how I would handle the possibility of letting down customers by not hitting deadlines and deliverables and once hired understood why. Overall seeking a much more promising form of employment.

    Advice to Management

Show respect, keep eye contact, and find a new CCO

I have been working at 3form full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

3form has things like on-site gym, free fruits and free fountain soda/coffee. Recently, they have added a tenure award marketed as "service award." Gifts are given for 5 years ($250 reimbursement for concert or sporting event), 10 years ($1000 for hotel/ air travel) and 15 years ($1500 for hotel/air travel). Albeit this is a step in the right direction. I wonder if this will continue. Or if they will eliminate it soon like many other employee incentives of the past. Also added to benefits is 2-day paid paternity leave.

    Cons

Recently, they have added the following benefits for salary workers only (mainly office employees): a week paid off during the last week of December for the holidays, 3 days paid for sick leave, 5 additional days paid days off for those who have worked 5 years or more. This is a con because it is not a company wife policy. Anyone working in production or fabrication, those already working 10-12 hour shifts to get products out, work mandated Saturday OT (last year was 27+ Saturdays), anyone who is paid hourly does not receive these benefits. This makes production employees feel even more marginalized and treated unfairly. This creates a divisive cultural. There is very little chance for advancement. Or even opportunity to advance. It is like one day

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees equally. Train and develop employees. Make sure all employees feel valued. Listen to input and implement data driven improvement suggestions. Be more competitive with pay.

I have been working at 3form full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Some good perks like Christmas parties, onsite gym, and clinic.

    Cons

Plays favorites when it comes to raises and moving up.

    Advice to Management

Upper management and CEO need to spend some time working out on the floor to see what it's like.

    I worked at 3form full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

3form is progressive, innovative, always looking to improve and expand its product offering. It is a very fun, creative environment, with an objective to always stay ahead of the competition. The compensation is good with opportunities for growth and advancement.

    Cons

The performance oriented culture can be stressful and workloads can be high.

    I worked at 3form full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great product line and overall company direction. They are constantly coming out with new innovative and on-trend products. Great poeple to work with.

    Cons

The Sales Coordination department was a undervalued and the pay was very low for the amount of work and stress for the position. This contributed to the revolving door for this position. Immediate supervisors were aware of the difficulty, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears any further up the chain. This contributed to the revolving door for this and the supervisiory role to this position.

    Advice to Management

Consider improvement when the morale of an entire department is low. There needed to be a better work-life balance for this department.

I have been working at 3form full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Design-wise, the standard for work was high and there was alway interest in keeping up with new opportunities. Motivation to collaborate was descent. Hours were regular.

    Cons

A few times a year, I had to put in overtime for trade shows and new products.

    Advice to Management

Upper management often felt out of touch because we were left out of important conversations. Talking more with your employees could help them trust your leadership.

    I worked at 3form full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great product when used correctly, great technical expertise in fabrication, some great people in the office to work with.

    Cons

Sales force is entitled and lacks basic product knowledge, untrained and not managed, unaccountable. They could not sell a concept- they are 100% dependent on office staff to sell their products.
Management has been unable to match the product and processes to customer needs. Customer experience is the #1 problem and there are not attempts being made to correct it.
Low pay, no advancement, 50+ hour weeks, no standard processes for work.
Best jobs at 3form are in the factory.

    Advice to Management

Enable sales support staff with technology and automation. Focus on the process to get a sale through and how it can be brought down to one click of the mouse, if possible.
Shift the perception that employees are monkeys pushing buttons to expecting expertise and exceptional customer service from a highly skilled and highly intelligent support team.
