    Constantly Growing

    Pros

50onRed has some of the best employee perks you'll find. Some of my favorites: -25 days of PTO & 12 company paid holidays -Quarterly hackathons -Catered lunches -Flexible schedule -Quarterly outings -Fully stocked kitchen -Gym membership reimbursement -Employer paid healthcare While the perks are nice, they're far from the biggest benefit of working at 50onRed. They have some of the most passionate and hardworking individuals you'll find. Everyone is personable and are genuinely kind hearted folks (for the most part). It's always nice getting to work with people that don't suck.

    Cons

High turnover. For a lot of staff, this is their first job out of college so it makes sense that people would look for other opportunities after getting some experience. The company has recognized this and has taken steps to retain employees such as increased benefits and raffling gift cards to employees who forward recruiter emails. 401K match requires 5 years of employment before vesting.

You will be required to clean up some mess

    Pros

It's good to get out of the office at times when the tension is high in the office.

    Cons

Working for this position will require you to do plenty of things and take on too many responsibilities. You'll be workin as a messenger, a runner, and a personal assistant to the boss. You'll be going out for errands, make coffee and clean up some mess.

    Maybe look elsewhere

    Pros

They hire great people that keep the job bearable.

    Cons

The worst management I've ever experienced. You will be treated like a warm body rather than a valued employees. There is no training whatsoever when you start. They don't care about you, they care about their image and their money.

    Everything is so mismanaged

    Feb 28, 2021 - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

They had some very good individual contributors.

    Cons

Everything is so mismanaged. Management either too hands on or too hands off. No company direction, no transparency, zero recognition, no team collaboration, I could go on forever.

Owner was determined to run the company into the ground

    Jan 24, 2021 - Software Engineer

    Pros

Good starter job. Just get a few years of experience, then get out.

    Cons

The ultimate micromanaging manger, who was the owner, seemed to be determined to run the company into the ground. There was no strategy and he liked to make customers and his employees mad. Very low pay and terrible benefits, not for the senior management because they had lots of it. Other companies in the industry were way better from every aspect ( pay, benefits, time off, management, and especially culture).

    Unprofessional and hostile boss

    Business Outlook

    Pros

There were no probs. Just stay away from this company

    Cons

This place was a disaster with an extremely unprofessional and hostile boss. He would berate his people on a daily basis and subject them to demeaning treatment. Employees were expected to work long day as well as weekends and holidays. They were criticized for every single thing that they do. If you choose to work here, know your legal rights as an employee as well as your hours and pay

    Management is an absolute disaster

    Nov 12, 2020 - Software Engineer
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

You are most likely more experienced and knowledgeable than the actual management.

    Cons

Management has no clue what they are doing. They are completely uninvolved in the day to day, but still manage to give their incompetent input on projects. Absolutely zero training of new employees and lack of communication around company performance. No one is properly on boarded to their teams, or taught anything about brand guidelines and process. This place is a joke.

    Boring and slow

    Oct 1, 2020 - Soffware Engineer

    Pros

Work from home is allowed on occasion

    Cons

The work is boring, and the overall ambience is slow. You will feel that you are just wasting your days here. I wish I had any real friends here. But I didn't. Everyone is too busy, and there is no bonding between the employees.

Choose who is supposed to do what

    Jul 31, 2020 - Administrative Assistant
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Nice working area, there are fun times at the office. Free wine and cheese.

    Cons

The management still needs a lot of improvement in how they run things. The systems are disorganized, there are too many people who wants to run things on their own terms.
